Tetons Sweep Dakota College Bottineau
Williston, N.D. — The Williston State College volleyball team kept their strong play rolling on Tuesday night, sweeping Dakota College at Bottineau in three straight sets.
The Tetons were efficient on offense, hitting .216 as a team with 41 total kills, led by a dominant performance from Ella Morken, who tallied 17 kills on 39 swings while hitting .410. She also added four service aces and 21.5 points to fuel the Teton attack.
Freshman standout Dani Jordan had another big night, finishing with 12 kills and 17 digs to record a double-double, while also adding two service aces and a block assist. Setter Tristy Kreil kept the offense running smoothly with 23 assists, chipping in two service aces and seven digs of her own.
At the service line, the Tetons were sharp, recording 15 aces as a team. Paula Blanco Retuerta and Morken each delivered four, while Ella Post added two in limited action. Defensively, the back row was anchored by Jordan's 17 digs and Emma Hane's seven, keeping Bottineau off balance throughout the match.
With the win, Williston State is 1-0 in MonDak play and is back in action on Tuesday the 23rd in Miles City.
