Josiah McDonald Earns NJCAA All-American Honors Following Standout Season
Williston, N.D. — Josiah McDonald has added another major accolade to an already impressive season, earning Third Team All-American honors from the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
McDonald, who was also named the MonDak Conference MVP, delivered a dominant performance throughout the season, solidifying himself as one of the top players in junior college basketball. Over 30 games, he averaged 26.0 points per game while shooting 45.4% from the field, 33.3% from three-point range, and 77.6% from the free-throw line. In addition to his scoring ability, McDonald contributed across the board, averaging 7.7 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game.
His all-around impact and consistency were key factors in his team's success this season, as he routinely stepped up in critical moments and proved to be one of the most versatile players in the region.
Adding to his list of achievements, McDonald has been selected to participate in the NJCAA All-Star Game, which will take place in Las Vegas later this May. The event will showcase some of the top junior college talent from across the country.
As his junior college career comes to a close, McDonald is currently evaluating his options for the next level. He has not yet committed to a four-year program but is expected to make a decision in the near future.
