Teton Men Beat Lake Region 102-74
The Williston State College men's basketball team delivered an offensive showcase, pulling away for a decisive 102–74 victory over Lake Region State College.
Williston State was in control from the opening tip, pushing the pace and shooting efficiently throughout the night. The Tetons finished at 51.3 percent from the field and knocked down 14 three-pointers, stretching the floor and keeping Lake Region on its heels. Their ball movement was equally impressive, as Williston State recorded 23 assists on 40 made field goals.
Josiah McDonald led the way with a game-high 28 points, hitting 11 of 22 shots and knocking down three triples. He added eight rebounds, four assists, and three steals in a complete performance. Eden Hobbs followed with 18 points on efficient shooting, while Grantham Milner and Andrew Sauer each chipped in 10 points to give the Tetons balanced scoring across the lineup.
Carson Haerer orchestrated the offense masterfully, finishing with 14 points and a game-high 12 assists to go along with seven rebounds. His ability to create opportunities for teammates kept the tempo high and the offense flowing.
Williston State also controlled the glass, outrebounding Lake Region 46–36, and used its depth to maintain pressure for all 40 minutes. Bridger Johnson provided a spark off the bench with 10 points in just 13 minutes, while multiple reserves contributed defensively and on the boards.
Lake Region was led by Dane Hagler with 11 points and Jeremiah Johnson with 10 off the bench. Despite solid rebounding from Akok Ajou, who pulled down 10 boards, the Royals struggled from long range, shooting just 3-of-23 from three-point territory.
