Tetons Overwhelm Rocky Mountain JV in 114–48 Rout
WILLISTON, N.D. — Williston State College delivered a wire-to-wire clinic on both ends of the floor Wednesday night, dismantling Rocky Mountain College JV 114–48 in one of their most dominant performances of the season. The Tetons shot a blistering 58.4% from the field, piled up 57 rebounds, and saw 11 different players score in the runaway victory.
The offensive onslaught was led by Eden Hobbs, who turned in a near-perfect night. The sophomore finished with 27 points on 11-of-13 shooting, adding four rebounds and two steals while setting the tone with relentless rim pressure and efficient finishing.
Josiah McDonald and Carson Haerer joined him in double figures. McDonald totaled 17 points, showing versatility with three steals and three blocks, while Haerer posted a strong all-around line of 13 points and eight rebounds, helping Williston State control the interior from the opening tip.
Williston State's depth shined throughout the night. Andrew Sauer (9 points, 8 rebounds), Joaquin Powell (10 points), Mason McPeak (7 points), and River Q. (6 points on a perfect 2-for-2 from deep) each provided sparks off the bench. The Tetons moved the ball unselfishly, finishing with 18 assists on 45 made field goals.
Defensively, Williston State smothered the Bears, holding them to just 22.9% shooting and 2-for-30 from three. Rocky Mountain's struggles were compounded by 21 turnovers, many of them forced by the Tetons' length and pressure. J. Neely was one of the few bright spots for the visitors, notching 19 points and 10 rebounds to secure a double-double.
The Tetons dominated the glass with a 57–34 rebounding advantage, consistently turning defensive stops into transition opportunities and second-chance points. Their bench contributed 47 points, reinforcing the team's depth and energy throughout the contest.
