Wildcats Win in Three
The Williston State volleyball team dropped its second conference game of the season to North Dakota State College of Science last night. The Wildcats took control of the first two sets, winning 19-25 and 18-25. Although the Wildcats won in three, the Tetons put up a strong fight in the third set. They forced extra points and proved to themselves, and the rest of the league, that they are improving fast.
"It was a tough loss, but a great example of what good volleyball looks like," said head coach Caitlyn Muder. "I am proud of the girls for the fight they put up. We are hungrier than ever to get them next time."
Sam Timmermans and Trystan Barta both had 8 kills. Alyssa Oliver had 26 digs and Alexis Moline had 32 assists.
The Tetons are now 1-2 in conference play and will be back in action September 12th. They will take on Dawson Community College in Glendive, MT.
