Region 13 Women's Basketball Championship Set for Sunday in The Well
The stage is set for a championship showdown as the Teton Women's Basketball Team hosts North Dakota State College of Science Wildcats women's basketball in the Region 13 Women's Basketball Championship Game on Sunday, March 8 at 2:00 p.m. CT inside The Well.
Fans are encouraged to pack The Well for what promises to be an exciting title matchup between two of the region's top programs.

Teton Women Enter Championship at 30–1
The Williston State Tetons women's basketball come into Sunday's championship game with an outstanding 30–1 overall record and the Mon-Dak Conference championship. The Tetons dominated league play this season, going undefeated against conference opponents.
Williston State has relied on a balanced scoring attack, with five players combining to score nearly 60% of the team's points throughout the season.
Leading the charge are:

Sophomore guard Taylah Murtagh – 544 points, shooting 49.3% from the field and 35% from three-point range.

Sophomore forward Jersey Berg – 529 points, shooting 53.5%, providing a strong interior presence.

Freshman forward Leila Heffernan – 474 points while shooting an impressive 60% from the field.

Freshman guard Dani Jordan – 391 points, a steady backcourt contributor.

Sophomore forward Lucia Bellido – 315 points, adding versatility to the lineup.
Supporting contributors such as Sophie Barker, Emily Fixico, and a strong freshman class have helped give the Tetons depth on both ends of the floor.
Defending Champions Aim to Repeat
Standing in their way is North Dakota State College of Science (23–5), the defending Region 13 champions, who will look to repeat as regional title holders.
NDSCS features one of the top interior players in the region:
