Rabon Field set to host the 2026 Region 13 Baseball Tournament
Williston State College is set to host the 2026 Region 13 Baseball Tournament this weekend at Rabon Field, with postseason play running May 8–10 on the Tetons' home diamond.
The four-team, double-elimination tournament features a competitive field, highlighted by top-seeded Williston State College. The Tetons enter the tournament with an impressive 43-12 overall record and carry momentum after capturing the MonDak Conference championship. As the No. 1 seed, Williston State will open tournament play against No. 4 seed Miles Community College, who come into the weekend at 29-18 overall. First pitch for that matchup is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
Tournament action begins earlier in the day on Friday with a 10:00 a.m. matchup between the No. 2 seed Dawson Community College Buccaneers (25-29) and No. 3 seed Dakota County Technical College Blue Knights (26-16). The winner of that contest will advance in the winner's bracket, while the losing team will move into an elimination game later in the tournament.
With the double-elimination format, teams will battle through the bracket with hopes of securing the Region 13 title. The stakes are high, as the tournament champion will earn the opportunity to host the Region 11 champion in a decisive series for a berth in the NJCAA Division II World Series.
Fans are encouraged to come out to Rabon Field and support the Tetons as they look to continue their strong season and make a postseason run on their home field.
